Annual Meeting in Sparks, Nevada
August 28 – September 1, 2011
The IAEI Northern Nevada Chapter invites you to attend the 88th Annual Education Program and Business meeting to be held in Sparks, Nevada. This year’s event will be held at John Ascuaga's Nugget near Reno, Nevada. The Nugget features 1,600 rooms in two 29-story towers and offers exceptional service and personal touches to make your stay in Reno more enjoyable. Eight award-winning restaurants satisfy every taste, six bars including entertainment and nightly dancing and our 24-hour full service casino are just a few of the amenities you will find here. John Ascuaga's Nugget is located three miles from downtown Reno, Nevada. You might even want to stay a little longer after the meeting, since the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off will be held August 31 to September 5. The conference program will kick off on Sunday, August 28, 2011, with an evening welcoming reception. Monday evening we will have a Casino Night event and dinner to be held at the hotel. Casino staff members will be on hand to help you learn how to play like a pro. The host committee has planned a few fun activities for the partners, including a tour of local scenic sites and a Koffee Klatch.
The educational topics this year will include photovoltaic systems, electric vehicle supply equipment, 2011 NEC changes, clearing ground faults and many more. More details about the partners’ program and educational program are posted on the Section website. Hotel registration will be handled directly with the hotel, details are also available on the Section website.

Attendee registration fee: $450, after August 14, a $50 late fee will apply.
You can pay by credit card online or by check. Either way, fill out the registration form online and then choose your payment method. If paying by check, please send your check to the address indicated at the end of the registration process.
If you are an exhibitor or sponsor, please fill out the online registration form. We have many new options for sponsors and exhibitors this year. Premium Voltage Sponsorships include preferred booth location and two attendee registrations. High Voltage Sponsorships include a booth and one attendee registration, while the Medium Voltage Sponsorship includes a booth with no attendee registration. There are also additional sponsorship opportunities that do not include booth space, and we appreciate your support! Additional company attendees may be added during the registration process, or at a later time. Details about the booth setup will be provided to exhibitors after registration.
Hotel reservations must be made directly with John Ascuaga’s Nugget. Details will be available soon. We look forward to seeing you in Nevada!

Partner's events:
Monday (after the welcoming speeches and introductions) the partners will be invited to a Koffee Klatch. A local scenic tour is planned for Tuesday.
This year's golf event will be held on Saturday, August 27th, this will allow those who are normally in the Board of Directors Meeting to participate. It will be held at Wolf Run Golf Club, website: www.wolfrungolfclub.com. The first tee times will be at 12:30. This will accommodate those arriving Saturday (most arrivals into RNO on Saturday are early). The average high temperature will be around 90 degrees. The club is in South Reno at 1400 Wolf Run Rd, Reno, NV less then 10 miles from our Hotel. The cost for the golf event will be $75.00 per person. Please RSVP to Tim Kay at: TKay@washoecounty.us
